3 <br />CITY OF EVERETT <br />PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT <br />STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS <br />Water Pollution Control Facility Engineering Report <br />The City of Everett is requesting Statements of Qualifications for preparation of an Engineering Report on <br />the functioning of its Water Pollution Control Facility. Due to recent increases in biological loading at the <br />Water Pollution Control Facility, the City has a need for an analysis of current plant operation and evaluation <br />of options for cost-effectively treating the increased loading in the short term as well as long term. While the <br />initial scope/contract is intended to cover the preparation of an engineering report, the City reserves the right <br />to amend this contract to cover subsequent phases of work as required. The work may include, but is not <br />limited to, data collection and analysis, operational evaluation, modeling, optimization, development of <br />alternative solutions, scheduling, cost estimating, preparation of plans and specifications. <br />Any qualified firm wishing to submit their qualification must contact Tim Marks, P.E. at (425) 257-8872 or <br />at tmarks(i ,ci.everett.wa.us to obtain an information packet. The information packet will contain specific <br />instructions as to the content and formatting of the Statement of Qualifications. The deadline for submittals <br />is 5:00 p.m., Tuesday April 15, 2008. <br />1 <br />
