RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION waiving public bidding requirements and approving a sole source purchase of an <br />Enterprise License from ESRI, Inc. <br />WHEREAS, the Everett Public Works Department uses numerous GIS software products to support its <br />operations; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has established a standard for GIS software produced by ESRI, Inc. (ESRI); and <br />WHEREAS, software offered by other manufacturers is not compatible with current City software and <br />systems; and <br />WHEREAS, ESRI offers this software under an Enterprise Licensing agreement which is only available <br />directly from SSRI. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT that <br />because there is clearly and legitimately only one source capable of supplying an Enterprise License for ESRI <br />Software, the City hereby waives competitive bidding requirements and authorizes the purchase of an <br />Enterprise License from ESRI, Inc. <br />Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br />PASSED and APPROVED this day of , 2005. <br />Council President <br />
