EXHIBIT A - 4 <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />CITY OF EVERETT <br />CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES <br />FOR <br />REPLACEMENT OF WATER TRANSMISSION LINES 2 AND 3 — PHASE 6 PROJECT <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Replacement of Water Transmission Lines 2 and 3 - Phase 6 Project, previously designed by <br />MWH, involves the replacement of existing elevated sections of Pipelines No. 2 and 3 from <br />Home Acres Road (east end) Station 747+02 extending to the East end of the West Segment of <br />the Phase 5 Project at Station 787+06. The total Phase 6 dual pipeline length is 7,934 linear feet. <br />The City desires to have MWH Americas Inc. provide construction management services during <br />the construction of this project. This scope of work replaces the original construction <br />management scope of work shown in Task 15 Exhibit A and describes the activities to be <br />completed by Contractor (MWH). (Herein after referred to as "Contractor (MWH)") and its sub <br />consultants. The Contractor (MWH) field and office staff responsibilities are as follows: <br />• Project Manager: Manage project scope and budget, report overall project status to City <br />of Everett project manager. Review invoicing and attend specific project meetings. <br />• Construction Manager/Inspector: Manage project team, report to City of Everett staff, <br />attend and manage project meetings, coordination with regulatory and permitting <br />agencies. Review project schedule, maintain project logs and files. Maintain <br />communication with Construction Contractor. On-site project inspection, coordination of <br />special inspection subconsultants, daily reports and photos. Monitor and log pile driving, <br />installation of pile bent and pipeline facility. <br />• Senior Inspector If the Construction Contractor follows a shorter compressed <br />construction schedule, the services of a Senior Inspector will be provided. <br />Responsibilities are as follows: On-site project inspection, coordination of special <br />inspection subconsultants, daily reports and photos. Monitor and log pile driving, <br />installation of pile bent and pipeline facility. <br />• Office Engineer: Review of submittals and BFI's, attend selected project meetings as <br />required. <br />Task 15. Construction Management Services <br />A. Contract Administration. Provide the services of a Project Manager (part time), <br />Construction Manager/Inspector (full time) and additional office engineer time to <br />perform the following construction services: <br />1. Project Management.
