6.1 Services. 6.1.1 Contractor shall serve as a Victims Services sub- 9 contractor throughout the STOP Grant project. The Contractor shall maintain a legal advocacy program director position partially funded to the amount of$15,487.00; the position will continue development of interagency policies and procedures for coordinated community response and referrals; continue development of written reciprocal policies and procedures for cross-referral of clients with the Providence Intervention Center for Assault and Abuse. The Contractor shall work in cooperation with the City and the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney's Office in carrying out its responsibilities under STOP GRANT No. 2007-WF-AX- 0008. 6.1A The Contractor shall provide funding for the Providence Everett Sexual Assault Center to employ an advocate specialist and intervention specialist to provide community-based advocacy services for victims of sexual assault, age 18 and older. Services provided can include, but are not limited to, information and referral, crisis intervention, medical advocacy, legal advocacy, intakes and assessments prior to entry into therapy services, assistance assessing Crime Victim's Compensation benefits, and the development of individual safety and treatment plans. Services provided by the advocates shall meet the requirements set forth by Washington State RCW 70.125, and by the standards defined by the State of Washington Sexual Abuse/Assault Services Standards, Fiscal Year 2006. The Contractor shall provide funds to the Center for Battered Women to support a community-based legal advocate to provide services to female victims of domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking, age 18 and older from Snohomish County. Services provided can include, but are not limited to, advocacy and outreach to underserved communities and relationship building, information and referral, crisis intervention, medical advocacy, legal advocacy, informing victims of their rights, development of individual safety plans, assistance accessing Crime Victims Compensation benefits, community education and awareness, and referrals to other community resources. Services provided by the Advocate shall meet the requirements set forth by Washington State RCW 70.123 and RCW 70.125, and by the standards defined by the State of Washington Sexual Abuse/Assault Services Standards, Fiscal Year 2006. 6.1B The Contractor and subcontractor shall participate in enhancing the Snohomish County Coordinated Community Response Team to increase the safety of victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking and hold offenders accountable. The Snohomish County Coordinated Community Response Team shall meet monthly, or at last quarterly, during the contract period with a focus on issues related to responding to adult victims of stalking, domestic violence, and/or sexual assault, including victims from marginalized communities.
