6.1 Services. 6.1.1 Contractor shall serve as a Victims Services sub- 9 <br /> contractor throughout the STOP Grant project. The Contractor shall <br /> maintain a legal advocacy program director position partially funded to the <br /> amount of$15,487.00; the position will continue development of <br /> interagency policies and procedures for coordinated community response <br /> and referrals; continue development of written reciprocal policies and <br /> procedures for cross-referral of clients with the Providence Intervention <br /> Center for Assault and Abuse. The Contractor shall work in cooperation <br /> with the City and the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney's Office in <br /> carrying out its responsibilities under STOP GRANT No. 2007-WF-AX- <br /> 0008. <br /> 6.1A The Contractor shall provide funding for the Providence <br /> Everett Sexual Assault Center to employ an advocate specialist <br /> and intervention specialist to provide community-based advocacy <br /> services for victims of sexual assault, age 18 and older. Services <br /> provided can include, but are not limited to, information and <br /> referral, crisis intervention, medical advocacy, legal advocacy, <br /> intakes and assessments prior to entry into therapy services, <br /> assistance assessing Crime Victim's Compensation benefits, and <br /> the development of individual safety and treatment plans. Services <br /> provided by the advocates shall meet the requirements set forth <br /> by Washington State RCW 70.125, and by the standards defined <br /> by the State of Washington Sexual Abuse/Assault Services <br /> Standards, Fiscal Year 2006. <br /> The Contractor shall provide funds to the Center for Battered <br /> Women to support a community-based legal advocate to provide <br /> services to female victims of domestic violence, sexual assault or <br /> stalking, age 18 and older from Snohomish County. Services <br /> provided can include, but are not limited to, advocacy and <br /> outreach to underserved communities and relationship building, <br /> information and referral, crisis intervention, medical advocacy, <br /> legal advocacy, informing victims of their rights, development of <br /> individual safety plans, assistance accessing Crime Victims <br /> Compensation benefits, community education and awareness, <br /> and referrals to other community resources. Services provided by <br /> the Advocate shall meet the requirements set forth by Washington <br /> State RCW 70.123 and RCW 70.125, and by the standards <br /> defined by the State of Washington Sexual Abuse/Assault <br /> Services Standards, Fiscal Year 2006. <br /> 6.1B The Contractor and subcontractor shall participate in <br /> enhancing the Snohomish County Coordinated Community <br /> Response Team to increase the safety of victims of domestic <br /> violence, sexual assault, or stalking and hold offenders <br /> accountable. The Snohomish County Coordinated Community <br /> Response Team shall meet monthly, or at last quarterly, during <br /> the contract period with a focus on issues related to responding to <br /> adult victims of stalking, domestic violence, and/or sexual assault, <br /> including victims from marginalized communities. <br /> AGREEMENT RE STOP GRANT Page 2 <br /> 2 <br /> 29 <br />
