Deliverables
1. Draft BE/BA (five hardcopies and PDF copy)
2. Final BE/BA (five hardcopies and PDF copy)
2.6 Subtask 206 — Wetland Delineation Report
Purpose
Wetlands have been mapped in the project corridor according to the National Wetlands
Inventory Map. HDR biologists will determine the presence of wetlands, their limits within the
project corridor, and the wetland ratings. They will also determine if there are any streams
within the project corridor.
Consultant Services •
1. Review existing environmental documents.
2. Identify and flag wetlands and streams (OHW) in the project corridor.
3. Prepare Wetland Delineation Report.
City Responsibilities
1. Arrange rights-of-entry prior to HDR biologists initiating the work.
2. Notify property owners along the right-of-way, and obtain written rights of entry for use
by the technical staff accessing the right of way.
3. Work with the consultant surveyor to stake and flag the existing pipeline corridor
adjacent to potential wetland areas to provide an approximate location of the right-of-
way prior to the wetland delineation.
Assumptions
1. The wetland delineation will be performed when hydrologic conditions are readily
observable (i.e., not during the dry season).
2. Wetland boundaries within 100 feet of the study area will be approximated using aerial
photographs.
3. No detailed functional assessments or impact analyses will be performed under this
subtask (See Task 207 —Critical Areas Study and Habitat Management Plan).
4. In-stream habitat assessment will not be conducted as part of this subtask (See Task
205— Endangered Species Act Compliance). The scope does not include
electroshocking, hydraulic analysis, or other detailed stream studies.
5. Delineated wetland boundaries, data plot locations, and stream ordinary high water
marks will be surveyed and mapped by surveyor as outlined in Task 1100.
Deliverables
1. Draft Wetland Delineation Report that will include data sheets, wetland rating sheets (if
applicable), site photographs, GIS map showing identified wetland and stream
boundaries. (five hardcopies and PDF copy)
2. Final Wetland Delineation Report (five hardcopies and PDF copy)
3. Electronic copy of GPS/GIS data in Arc/Info format.
Everett Replacement of Water Transmission Line No. 25 of 21
Phase 8B Scope of Services 7 9
