Consultant Services <br /> 1. Develop a temporary traffic control plan for use during construction for South Lake 1 2 <br /> Stevens Road in accordance with Snohomish County standards. <br /> 2. Develop a temporary traffic control plan for five (5) residential streets impacted by the <br /> pipeline route. <br /> City Responsibilities <br /> 1. While doing community outreach activities, notify owners along the pipeline route of <br /> potential impacts to the roads during construction. <br /> Assumptions <br /> 1. Traffic control plans will consist of simplified lane closures and short detour routings. <br /> Deliverables <br /> 1. Permit level traffic control plans will be included in applicable permit submittals. <br /> 2. Traffic control plans will be included in the project plan sheets. <br /> 4.2 Subtask 402.— Predesign Report <br /> Purpose <br /> Prepare a predesign report (approximately 30 percent design). The City has preliminary <br /> identified some project requirements (ie, steel pipe). This subtask will develop a predesign <br /> report to document the design criteria to be used on the project. <br /> Consultant Services <br /> 1. Develop design criteria for the project and review these with the City engineering and <br /> operations personnel. <br /> 2. Prepare draft predesign report, including preliminary plan and profile drawings, <br /> engineer's opinion of probable costs, and a preliminary construction schedule. <br /> 3. Prepare a final predesign report, incorporating City comments into the report. <br /> 4. Incorporate Permit Acquisition Technical Memorandum (Subtask 203) into the final <br /> document. <br /> City Responsibilities <br /> 1. Provide preliminary studies/information completed by the City on the Phase 8B project. <br /> 2. Provide plans and electronic files of applicable City front end bid documents, technical <br /> standard details and standard specifications for most recent similar projects. <br /> 3. Return comments on the predesign report. <br /> Assumptions <br /> 1. Predesign report drawings will be at approximately 30% level of effort. <br /> 2. No specifications will be prepared for the predesign report. A draft list of specifications <br /> will be provided. <br /> 3. Design will proceed based on the approved concepts and layouts established in the <br /> Predesign Report, which upon City review, will be used for the 90 percent design. <br /> Everett Replacement of Water Transmission Line No.2 9 of 21 <br /> Phase 8B Scope of Services 6 3 <br />
