Consultant Services <br /> 1. On an as-needed and requested basis, Engineer will attend construction meetings or 2 <br /> make site visits to observe the construction work to answer and help resolve questions <br /> or issues in the field, or to verify that the construction is being performed in general <br /> conformance with the Contract Documents. Photographs will be taken, if appropriate, <br /> and a written field report will be prepared and submitted to document the work and <br /> discussions. <br /> City Responsibilities <br /> 1. As much as possible try to provide at least 24 hours notice to Engineer for requested <br /> field visits. <br /> Assumptions <br /> 1. The construction schedule, from Contractor selection to substantial completion, will be <br /> approximately 11 months. <br /> 2. Engineering support services does not include full-time observation of the construction <br /> progress. City will provide observation or amend the contract to include observation in <br /> the Engineer's services. <br /> 3. Engineer will conduct two site visits each month to observe the construction progress <br /> and attend Contractor field meetings. Six hours for travel, observation, meetings, and <br /> field report preparation is used for budgeting. <br /> Deliverables <br /> 1. Field reports associated with the site visits. <br /> 9.0 Task 900 — HDR QA/QC <br /> 9.1 Subtask 901 — QA/QC <br /> Purpose <br /> Provide internal review and quality control of the work throughout the project. QA/QC services <br /> are completed by independent reviewers. <br /> Consultant Services <br /> 1. Provide internal review and quality control of the work throughout the design, including <br /> review of the Predesign Report, 90 percent design submittal, and bid ready submittal. <br /> 2. Review the Engineer's Opinion of Probable Cost at each submittal stage. P <br /> 3. Provide constructability review from internal Construction Management team based <br /> upon experience gained from previously constructed projects. <br /> City Responsibilities <br /> 1.
