All permits, right-of-entry, and requirements for site restoration are City of Everett <br /> responsibility. <br /> Assumptions <br /> 1. Explorations as proposed within pipeline right-of-way are acceptable to City of Everett. <br /> Deliverables <br /> 1. Geotechnical report, to be submitted as draft and finalized following review and <br /> comment by HDR and City of Everett. Geotechnical report to contain field and laboratory <br /> data, groundwater measurements, and engineering conclusions/recommendations <br /> concerning trench excavation impacts on existing pipelines, trench excavation side <br /> slopes and/or shoring, dewatering, backfill, pipe foundation support. (ten hardcopies <br /> and PDF copy of both draft and final). <br /> 11.2 Subtask 1102 — Limited Hazardous Materials Sampling <br /> Purpose <br /> A portion of the alignment has been identified as potentially impacted by hazardous or <br /> regulated soil/groundwater contaminants associated with property owner scrap auto storage. <br /> The near-surface soils in this area will be sampled and tested for contaminants. This scope of <br /> work is limited to sampling suspect areas based on reconnaissance and does not constitute an <br /> Environmental Site Assessment per current ASTM Standards. <br /> Consultant Services <br /> 1. Conduct a reconnaissance of the alignment to evaluate past uses that introduce a risk <br /> of soil or groundwater contaminants affecting the project. <br /> 2. Obtain near-surface soil samples at depths of up to 3 feet in the area of the property <br /> owner scrap auto storage areas by hand auger methods; Obtain a maximum of 6 <br /> samples. <br /> 3. Contact Utilities Underground Locating Center prior to field explorations. <br /> 4. Complete analytical laboratory testing on up to 6 soil samples obtained from shallow <br /> hand borings.
