The 60% design drawings will be submitted in draft for City review. Comments <br /> on the 60% submittal will be incorporated into a final 60% drawing set, to be used for project <br /> permitting. One full size and one half size camera-ready set of Construction Plan Drawings will <br /> be provided to the City at each phase of the design. <br /> TASK 10 —TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS <br /> Technical specifications will be prepared in the master format of the Construction Specifications <br /> Institute, 1995 version. URS anticipates the following specification divisions: <br /> • Division 2 — Site Work <br /> • Division 3 — Concrete <br /> • Division 5 — Metals <br /> • Division 9— Finishes <br /> • Division 15 —Mechanical <br /> The specifications will be performance oriented with flexibility to allow the contractor to <br /> collaborate and propose innovative and cost saving ideas. The specifications will be included in <br /> the 60%, 95% and 100% design submittals. One bound and one unbound camera-ready copy of <br /> the will be submitted at each phase of the design. <br /> TASK 11 — CONSTRUCTION COST ESTIMATES <br /> Construction cost estimates will be developed as follows: <br /> • Complete quantity take-offs from the drawings. <br /> • Unit costs from pre-design experience, contractor quotes, and other City projects <br /> Page 7 of 10 <br /> s+ <br />
