II. <br /> Guidelines: Lighting within parking structures shall be shielded from <br /> producing off-site glare impacts to residential areas, either <br /> through exterior shields or through optical design inside the <br /> fixture, so that the direction of light is downward. <br /> 4.1.7 Lighting: <br /> Intent: To ensure that site lighting contributes to the character of <br /> the site and does not disturb adjacent residential areas. <br /> Guidelines: <br /> • Lighting shall be provided within parking lots and along pedestrian <br /> walkways. <br /> • Lighting fixtures shall be limited to heights of 24 feet for parking <br /> lots and 18 feet for pedestrian walkways.
