Section 504.6.4 <br />Exiting <br />The mechanical closet doors should be shown not to reduce the required width of the exterior exit <br />balconies by more than 7 inches when fully opened, or by more than 1/2 when in any position. <br />Section 1004.3.3.2 <br />_,,,2' The stair enclosure above the occupancy separation should be shown to be a minimum of two- <br />hour fire -resistive construction with 90-minute rated doors. Section 1005.3.3.2 <br />03. The two-hour fre-resistive walls of the exit enclosure should be shown to continue through the <br />attic to the underside of the roof sheathing, or the walls should terminate at a two-hour fire - <br />resistive roof/ceiling assembly. Section 1005.1 <br />�As the means of egress serves an occupant load of more than 100, the means of egress <br />illumination should be specified to be connected to an emergency system per Section 1003.2.9.2. <br />Note that the means of egress begins from the entry doors of the dwelling units, through to the <br />public way.
