The Zoning Code <br /> requires that a landscape strip a minimum of 5 feet wide be provided along perimeter lot <br /> lines on the subject site. Type ill landscaping must be provided in these areas, includin� <br /> trees spaced at irtervals no greater than 30 feet on center, shrubs and groundcover. 7 �e <br /> Zoning Code also requires that internal parking lot landscaping be provided, witli the <br /> amount of required landscaping based upon the number of parking stalls. The proposal <br /> does not meet the standards. The proposal is to provide increased perimeter landsrapinc <br /> along the west side of the parkir�y lot and driveway in lieu of intarnal parking lot <br /> landscaping, and to eliminate required landscaping under I-5.
