The applicanYs landscapar stated that <br /> the required Type Ifl landscaping will not survive on a long-term basis in the area under the <br /> I-5 bridge. <br /> The oroposed additional land;caping west of the parking lot, particularly that next to the <br /> driveway, will help ;o break up the appeararce of the parking lot. <br /> Conclusior�s: The proposed landscaping at the Tiz Door Sales warehouse site will break up <br /> the apoearance of the parking lot, ar.d will achieve the intent and purpose of the Zoning <br /> Code requirement. <br /> Required landscaping under the I-5 overpass will likely not survive, and would not be <br /> effective in breaking up the appearance of the parking lot. <br /> Decision: Tlie City of Everett Planning Director hereby GRANTS approval of the reque5t <br /> to allow a mod�fication of landscape requirements for required landscaping located under <br /> I-5, the location of perimeter landscaping, and for interior parking lot landscaping subject to <br /> the following conditions: <br /> 1.
