99-11-10
Novack Property
510 Place
Everett, Wit.
foundations causing settlement and unwanted cracking in the foundation and
surrounding residences. After construction, the sides of the slope that have been
disturbed or stripped of vegetation should be replanted with a deep rooted ground
cover. This ground cover should be maintained throughout the life of the residential
structure.
The limits of clearing of vegetation should be limited to the footprint of the house
and driveway prism to help limit erosion and/or sedimentation. It is very important
to insure that the slope remains vegetated or covered at all times. If any of the
vegetation on the slope is stripped during construction or is eroded during a heavy
storm event, it should be replace by a dense, fast growing ground cover and/or
covered with a heavy plastic or straw.
4.9 Cuts and Excavations
All excavations should conform to applicable sections of the Washington State
laws, WAC 296-155-650,655,660 and 665. For this project, all temporary
excavations and/or slopes less than four (4) feet in depth in undisturbed native soil
will stand in near vertical cuts for short periods of time. Any excavations of cuts in
temporary excavations and/or slopes greater than fou- (4) feet in depth should be
laid back to a maximum slope of IHAV unless physically retained by use of a
digging box or other suitable methods. All permanently exposed slopes should be
protected by a dense ground cover or grass.
GES, Inc.'
