SECTION 01575 <br />HAZARDOUS AND CONTAMINATED SUBSTANCE HEALTH AND SAFETY <br />personnel representing third party stakeholders, and the public for the duration of the <br />Contract. <br />B. Maintain a current HCSHSP conforming to applicable Federal, State, and Local statutes, <br />rules, regulations, and ordinances, in effect at the time the Work is performed. <br />C. Personnel working in hazardous or contaminated material areas shall be trained in <br />accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and thoroughly briefed on the <br />anticipated hazards, safety equipment to be employed, safety practices to be followed, and <br />emergency procedures and communications. <br />D. Adhere to applicable Federal, State, and Local statutes, rules, regulations, and ordinances <br />for the duration of the Contract. <br />E. Develop and maintain on site industrial hygiene information including right -to -know <br />information, such as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). <br />F. If an emergency condition arises during the Contract, immediately notify the Resident <br />Engineer. Recommend appropriate courses of action to the Resident Engineer for <br />consideration. <br />1.06 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Quality Assurance <br />1. Submit the HCSHSP for review and approval by the Resident Engineer within fifteen <br />(15) calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Include modifications to the HCSHSP and <br />any task -specific HCSHSPs developed for this project. <br />2. Certifications: Current certifications for worker training, medical monitoring, and <br />respirator use (if applicable). <br />B. Reports <br />1. Training logs and worker compliance agreements. <br />2. Safety inspection logs, daily health and safety reports, and a closeout safety report. <br />3. Emergency and accident report(s). <br />4. Written monthly reports to the Resident Engineer on status of Hazardous and <br />Contaminated Substance Program when program is required. <br />1.07 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Qualifications <br />1. Qualifications of CIH include: <br />a.)
