SECTION 01323 <br />NETWORK ANALYSIS SCHEDULES <br />a.) A plotter -generated time -scaled network diagram, minimum size of 11 inches by <br />17 inches, showing activity descriptions, duration and relationships between <br />activities. The critical path shall be easily identifiable. <br />b.) The following reports: <br />i) Three sorts of the standard CPM report, including, as a minimum, activity <br />numbers, descriptions, early and late start and finish dates, and total float; <br />the required sorts shall be (1) by activity number, (2) by early start by total <br />float, and (3) by total float by early start. <br />ii) Predecessor/successor report, showing the above information plus the <br />predecessors and successors for each activity. <br />c.) A narrative that explains the Contractor's intended methods and means that will <br />be the basis for the Contractor's determination of construction logic and estimated <br />durations. The Contractor shall provide a formal presentation of the approach the <br />Contractor will take to complete the project within the critical and contractual <br />completion dates. The Contractor shall address mobilization, staging, phasing, <br />deliveries, and resources needed for the project. <br />d.) A 3-1/2" computer diskette or compact disk containing the schedule data file, <br />including all layouts and filters. The data shall be written to disk using the backup <br />routine within the Primavera software. <br />4. The Resident Engineer will review the Contractor's CPM Progress Schedule, including <br />logic diagrams and computer -generated analysis. The Resident Engineer will have <br />nine (9) calendar days to review and approve the complete submittal of the CPM <br />Progress Schedule, or to providE comment in writing. <br />5. If necessary, the Contractor shall revise and resubmit the Schedule within fourteen (14) <br />calendar days. The Resident Engineer will have seven (7) calendar days to review and <br />approve, or to comment on the revised Progress Schedule. <br />6. Within seven (7) calendar days following approval of the Schedule by the Resident <br />Engineer, the Contractor shall provide a diskette of the Progress Schedule, with any <br />comments incorporated, to the Resident Engineer. This final schedule is the approved <br />baseline schedule for the project. <br />7. Approval by the Resident Engineer of the Contractor's CPM Progress Schedule shall <br />not relieve the Contractor of the responsibility for accomplishing the Work within every <br />Contract required Milestone and Completion date. <br />B.
