C. The Contractor shall comply with all local requirements and permit conditions relating to acceptable hours of operation for construction sites, and to noise control and abaternent. Limit the hours of Work, for all Work-related a�tivities, to the following schedule, unless otherwise further constrained hy permits or agreemPnts or approved by the Resident Engineer. If the Contractor deems that a waiver of any local requirements is necessary to enable the Contractor to perform the Work in accordance wi!h the Contract requirements, it is the Contractor's responsibility to obtain said waivers, at no additional cost to Sound Transit. Submit a schedule of working hours revised in accordance with such local waiver to the Resident cngineer. The Contractor shall be liable for the costs of Sound Transit's unscheduled overtime inspection. Amend Section 6.01, Contract Time, by appending the foliowing paragraph: E. SP-6.09 Contract Time and designated Contract Milestones, including intermediate and/or final completion dates, shall be as follows: 1. The Contract Time is 299-270 calendar days after date of the Not�ce to Proceed (NTP). 2. Requirements for Substantial Completion of any portion of the Work of this Contract are as specified in ��ecification Section CLOSEOUT. SAFETY CERTIFICATION TESTING Section 6.09 of the General Provisions is deleted in i!� entirety. SP-6.16 ORDER OF V'JORK Section 6.16 of the General Provisions is modified as follows: Replace Section 6.16, Grder of Work, with the following: A. The sequence and limitations of construction are dictated by the specific characteristics of the Work and the Site. The Contractor shall comply with and ir�clude in its Construction Schedule the limitations of Work specified herein. B. The Contractor s�iall commence work immediately upon Notice to Proceed (NTP) and pursue the Work in an orderly fashion such that the Contract Time is met.
