SECTION 01110 SUMMARY OF WORK Two weeks prior to beginning of a specific ��nstruction activity, the Contractor shall prepare a narrative of proposed construction activities, including a schedule, to Sound Transit Facility. Specifically, the following information shall be provided a.) Identify the dates by which construction activity, which has the !ollowing eHects, will commence and be finished i. Disrupt normal tra�c flow on Hill Avenue, 33`d Street, Smith Avenue or Pacific Avenue. � iv. Disrupt access, vehic�lar or pedestrian, to any sctive business or transit adjacent to lhe Site. Reslrict parking on any street within or adjacenl to the Site. Require work outside of normal work hours. 2. Sound TransiCs Resident Engineer will be responsible for issuing advance notification to the public at large. However ihe Contractor shall be responsible for the day-to-day or hour-by-hour coordination with local governmental a�thorities, property owners or tenants when Work directly impacts normal operations, uses, or accesses. 3. Contractor s failure to meet minimum notification requiremeats shall not result in addilional cost to Sound Transit. 1.06 SURVEY INFORMATION A. A survey of the site is provided by Sound Transit and included in the Drawings. Sound Transit has established reference benchmarks identified on the Drawings. The Contractor will confirm with Sound Transit the reference survey data at lhe start of construction. From the information provided, the Contractor shall develop and make such additional surveys as are needed for construction, such as controi lines, slope stakes, settlement platforms, batter boards, stakes fcr pipe locations and other working points, lines and elevations. Survey work shall be performed under the responsible charge of a State of Washington licensed lan� surveyor. The Contractor shall re-establish reference benchmarks and survey control monuments destroyed by its operations at no cost to Sound Transit. Submit control work and cut sheet to the Resident Engineer in advance of work operations. 1.07 SPECIFICATION LANGUAGE A. Portions of the Specifications are written in imperative and streamlined form. This imperative language is directed to the Contractor, unless specifically noted otherwise. The words "shall be" shall be included by inference where a colon (:) is used within sentences or phrases.
