ATTACHMENT A TO SECTION 01900 <br />REVISICNS TO THE STANDARD PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />shall be gravel borrow as specified in Section 9-03.14(1) of the Standard Specifications. <br />Compaction shall be to 95% maximum density. <br />Connectiny pipes shall be piugged by tiiling with cement concrete Class 3000 for a minimum length <br />of 12 inches at the inlet end. <br />Removal of Obstructions <br />The following items shall be removed: <br />Railroad track <br />Railroad ties <br />Site BL Sta. 206+23 Lt. <br />E1 Sta. 31+80 Lt & Rt. <br />Site BL Sta. 206+22 Lt <br />E3 Sta. 31+80 LL 8 Rt. <br />Approx. ? I.f. <br />Approx. 131 I.f. <br />(Conc. Tie) 1 ea. <br />Unknown it any-buried <br />The Contractor shall remove railroad tracks and ties where shown in ihe Plans. The railroad ties <br />and tracks shall F ecome the �roperty o( the Contractor and shall be disposed of off•site. All existing <br />pavement, curbs, and other features desic�nated to remain but disturbed by the removal shall be <br />immediafely restored to a usable condition. <br />Removal of Pavement, Sidewalks, Curbs, and Gutters <br />Section 2-02.3(3) is supplemented with ihe following: <br />The approximate thickness o( lhe existing asphalt concrete and portland cement concrete <br />pavements at the sites of the cores shown on plan sheet C-101 is tabulated below. <br />Sawing and Line Drilling <br />When sawing rigid pavement, driveway. or sidewalk, ihe depth of saw cut shall be 2 inches or haN <br />tha dep:h of pavement, driveway, or sidewalk, whichever is greater. All mortared decorative or <br />special pavement (e.g., brick, cobb'astone, paver block, etc.) shall be sawcut full depth along a neat <br />line with intent of salvaging as many units as possible. <br />Curb shall be saw cut (ull height and width. <br />Asphall concrete shall be saw cut (ull depth. <br />When line drilling, spacing of drilled lioles center to center shall be 6 inches maximum.
