ATTACHMENT A TO SECTION 01900 REVISIONS TO THE STANDARD PLANS AND SRECIFICATIONS Filter Fabric Underdrain pipe and gravel backiill for drains shall be wrapped with a non-woven, needle-punch geotextile tor underground drainage, moderate survivability, Class B in accordance with Section 9- 33.2, Geotextile Properties Tables 1 and 2. Cleanouts Cleanouts shall be in accordance with the Special Provision Sewe� Cleanouts. Gravel Backiill for Drains Gravel back(ill tor drains shall be in accordance with Section 9-03.12(4). Trench Drain The irench draln stiall be a 6-inch wide system with 0.75% slope as manufactured by Zurn Industies, Inc., model Perma-trench Z-886 with ADA compatible ductile iron grate model Z-886-HPD, and exira heavy-duty frame asscmbiy with anchor studs and grate lockdown hardware, or equal approved by the Resident Engineer. Discharge will be by bottom outlet to a drain system with cleanouts as shown in ihe Plans. Floor Drain Area Drains: ANSI A112.21.2 with round nickel-bronze strainer and accessories: Membrane flange and membrane clamp with integrai grave stop, with adjustable under deck clamp and roof sump receiver (where indicated), weterproofing flange. a. Area Drain (Outdoor): Cast iron body, with cast iron bar grate. sediment bucket, and flashing collar. Construction Requirements Underdrain and trench drain shali be installed to ihe lengihs and inverts as indicated in the Plans and in the detail. STORM SEWERS Materials Section 7-04.2 is supplemented with the following: Pipe Pipe materiais shall comply with the requirements of City of Everett Design and Construction Standards and Specifications. Unless otherwise specified on ihe drawing, all storm sewer pipe shall be regular rubber gasketed concrete, polyethylene, or PVC pipe. Steel or aluminum pipe shall not be used. Rubber Gasketed Joints Flexible joinis shall be rubber-gasketed in accordance with the Standard Speci(ications. Mortared, dry-packed, or cast-in-place joints will be permitted only for connection to or through manholes and catch basins. A fiexible gasketed joint shall be instalied within 1 foot of each connection to or through said manholes and catch basins. Connections to catch bas��s and inlets with ductile iron or concrete pipe shall be cemant mor�ared.
