ATTACHMENT A TO SECTION 01900 <br />REVISIONS TO THE STANDARD PLANS AND SRECIFICATIONS <br />Filter Fabric <br />Underdrain pipe and gravel backiill for drains shall be wrapped with a non-woven, needle-punch <br />geotextile tor underground drainage, moderate survivability, Class B in accordance with Section 9- <br />33.2, Geotextile Properties Tables 1 and 2. <br />Cleanouts <br />Cleanouts shall be in accordance with the Special Provision Sewe� Cleanouts. <br />Gravel Backiill for Drains <br />Gravel back(ill tor drains shall be in accordance with Section 9-03.12(4). <br />Trench Drain <br />The irench draln stiall be a 6-inch wide system with 0.75% slope as manufactured by Zurn Industies, <br />Inc., model Perma-trench Z-886 with ADA compatible ductile iron grate model Z-886-HPD, and exira <br />heavy-duty frame asscmbiy with anchor studs and grate lockdown hardware, or equal approved by <br />the Resident Engineer. Discharge will be by bottom outlet to a drain system with cleanouts as <br />shown in ihe Plans. <br />Floor Drain <br />Area Drains: ANSI A112.21.2 with round nickel-bronze strainer and accessories: Membrane flange <br />and membrane clamp with integrai grave stop, with adjustable under deck clamp and roof sump <br />receiver (where indicated), weterproofing flange. <br />a. Area Drain (Outdoor): Cast iron body, with cast iron bar grate. sediment bucket, and flashing <br />collar. <br />Construction Requirements <br />Underdrain and trench drain shali be installed to ihe lengihs and inverts as indicated in the Plans and in <br />the detail. <br />STORM SEWERS <br />Materials <br />Section 7-04.2 is supplemented with the following: <br />Pipe <br />Pipe materiais shall comply with the requirements of City of Everett Design and Construction <br />Standards and Specifications. Unless otherwise specified on ihe drawing, all storm sewer pipe shall <br />be regular rubber gasketed concrete, polyethylene, or PVC pipe. Steel or aluminum pipe shall not <br />be used. <br />Rubber Gasketed Joints <br />Flexible joinis shall be rubber-gasketed in accordance with the Standard Speci(ications. Mortared, <br />dry-packed, or cast-in-place joints will be permitted only for connection to or through manholes and <br />catch basins. A fiexible gasketed joint shall be instalied within 1 foot of each connection to or <br />through said manholes and catch basins.
