ATTA�HMENT A TO SECTION 01900 <br />REVISIONS TO THE STANDARD PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />4. Restrictor Disks: Oritice plate shall be supplied with each cartridge to restrict flow rate to 15 gpm <br />maximum. <br />Cartridges shall be fitled with filter media (see specification above). <br />5. PVC Manifold Piping: All internal PVC pipe and fittings shall meet ASTM p1785. Manifold piping <br />shall be provided to the contractor pre-cut and partially glued and assembled. <br />Flow Spreader: Shall be constructed of spun LDPE. <br />6. Energy Dissipator: Shall be constructed oi polyolefins. <br />7. Precast Concrete Vault Components <br />A. Precast Concrete Vault: Shall be provided accordi�ig to ASTM C858-83. <br />B. Vault Joint Sealant: Shall be Conseal CS-101 or Resident Engineer approved. <br />C. Doors: Doors shall have hot-dipped galvanized irame and covers. Covers shail have <br />diamond plate finish. Each dcor to be equipped with a recessed IiN handle and a locking <br />iatch with 3.J" pentahead hold-down bolts. Pentahead wrench to be provided tor each <br />set of doors, upon request. Doors shall meet H-20 ioading requiremenis for incidental <br />tra((ic minirnum. <br />D. Frames and Covers: Frames and covers shall be gray cast iron and shall meet AASHTO <br />H-20 loading requirements. <br />E. Ladders: Ladders shall be consiructed of aiuminum and steel reinforced copolymer <br />polypropylene conforming to ASTM D-4101. Ladder shall bolt in place and �� equipped <br />with a pull-up ladder extender that shall extend a minimum oi 24 inches above the top <br />rung oi ladder. Ladder shall meet all ASTM C-497 load requirements. <br />F. Steps: Steps shall be constructed of copolymer polypropylene conforming to ASTM D- <br />4101. Steps shali be driven into preiormed or drilled holes once concrete is cured. Steps <br />shall meet the requiremenis of ASTM C-478 and AASHTO M-199. <br />8. Contractor Provided ComponeMs <br />A. Concrete (for concrete not covered by pre-cast speciiication above): Shall be 3000 psi, <br />28 day strength, 3/4 inch round rock, 4 inch slump maximum, placed within 90 minutes ot <br />initial mixing. <br />B. Silicone Sealant: Shall be pure RTV silicone conforming to Federal Specification Number <br />TT S001543A or Tf S00230C, or equivalent material approved by Residant Engineer. <br />C. Groui: Shall be non-shrink grout meeting the req�irements oi Corps of Engineers CRD- <br />C588. Specimens molded, cured and tested in accordance with ASTM C-109 shall have <br />minimum compressive strength of 6,200 psi. Grout shall not exhibit visible bleeding. <br />D. Sub-Base: Shall be 18-inches minimum of crushed sur!acing base course, 95% <br />compaction. Compact undisturbed sub-grade materials to 95% of maximum density at <br />+i-2% of optimum moisture content. Unsuitable inaterial below sub-grade shall be <br />replaced to Engineer's approval. <br />F..
