ATTACHMENT A TO SECTION 01900 <br />REVISIONS TO THE STANDARD PLANS AMD SPECIFICATIONS <br />Saddles <br />For 3/4" and 1" services use Romac, Ford, or Mueller service saddles with iron pipe th�ead. <br />For 7" services use Romac, Ford, or Mueller double strap service saddles with iron pipe ihread. <br />Corporation Stops <br />For 3/4" and 1" services use Ford F600 cc, 700 IP corporation stops, or approved equal. <br />For 2' services use 2" brass nipples and super heavy-duty 2" gai2 �alves with resilient seat and 2" <br />operaling nut. Two-inch gate valves shali be Waterous Series 500, �1&H #d06; , or approved equal. <br />Two-inch gate valves snall be installerl with two piece adjustable valve boxes and extensions as <br />described in Section 930.3(4) of these Special Provisions. <br />Service Pipes <br />For 3/4", 1", and 2" service lines, tubing shall be either polyethylene or copper tubing. <br />Copper Tubing <br />Copper tubing shall be annealed, seamless, and con(orm to the requirements o( ASTM B 88M, Type <br />K. <br />Polyethylene Tubing <br />Polye�hylene tubing shall: <br />1. Meet the requirements o( AWWA C901. <br />2. Be high moleailar mass with at least 200 PSI rating. <br />3. Have a#10 copper irace wire wrapped along its enlire lengih (one wrar per foot). <br />3/4" and 1" polyethylene lubing shall be iron pipa size (IPS)-ID ASTM D2239-SSIDR7 <br />(PE3408). <br />2" polyethylene shall be 2" cepper size� (CTS)-nD ASTM D2737-SDR9 �PE3408). <br />Service Fittings <br />For 3/4" and 1" service titlings, use Ford seties LAO (1/8 bend) ar LO (1/4 bend) titling for flare x <br />flare copper or pack joint compression fittin;�, er approved equal. Use of pack joinUccrc�pression <br />filting on polyethylene pipe requires approoriate stainless steei stiflener. Physical bends in <br />polyethylene pipe are not allowed, use approprate 1/4 or 1/8 bends as specified above. <br />For 2" service tittings, use Ford C28-77 or C84-77 •+vith appropriate stainless sieel insert stitiener, or <br />approved equal. Physical bends in polyethylene p:pe 3re not allowed, use brass elbows. <br />Meter Setters <br />3/4" meter setlers shall be A.Y. McDonald 62-212 WWDD33-15, or approved equal. <br />1" meter setters shall be A.Y.
