EeLllAl1U\ tUK
AGENCY USE ONLY
b. Are there any off-site sources of emissions or odor that may affct your
proposal? If so, generally describe.
Main off-site sources of emissions are from vehicles traveling along adjacent
roadways. Air quality wichin the site vicinity is good and is expected to remain in
that range.
c. Proposed measures to reduce or control emissions or other impacts to air, if
any:
The Washington Clear Air Act requires the use uf all known, available, and
reasonable means of controlling air pollution, including dust. Construction
impaca would not be significant and could be controlled by measures such as
washing truck wheels before exiting the site and maintaining gravel construction
entrances. In addition, dirt driving surfaces would be watered during extended dry
periods to control dust. These impacts are not expected to be significant.
3. WATER
a. Surface:
1) Is there any surface water body on or in the immediat:; vicinity of the site
(including }•ear-round and seasonal streams, saltwater, lakes, ponds,
wetlands)'' If yes, describe type and provide names. If appropriate, state
what stream or river it flows into.
Yes. See submitted Wetland Analysis. The main body Silver Lake lies west of
the site, across SR 527. A 0.30 acre Category III wedand is located on-site in
the southwes[ern corner with an adjacent 50' buffer. Approximately 6,500 sf.
consiss of emergent and scrub scrub wetlands associa[ed with 6,500 sf. of an
isolated open water portion of Silver Lake. The site has been significantly
modified, in the past the pond is now separated from the lake by SR S27 and
road fill.
2) VVill the project require any work over, in, or adjacent to (witLin 200 feet)
the described waters? If yes, please describe and attach available plans.
Yes. Approzimately the western half of the proposed development would occur
within 200' of the Ordinary High Watcr Mark (O.H.W.M.) of Silver Lake or
the associated Category III Wetland at ffie southwesc comer of the site. See
Figure 3 — Aeliminary Site Plan and Preliminary Grading & Drainage Plan.
3) Estimate the amount of f11 and dredge materia: :hat woWd be placed in or
removed from surface water or weUands and indicate the area of the site
that would be affected. Indicate the source of Fill material.
No fill wuld be placed in or removed f;m the wedand on-site.
Ervironmenta!
