The Everett School District has commented that the project will <br /> adversely impact the School District (see the attached letter) . <br /> The Applicant must negotiate with the School District regarding <br /> a mitigation agreement. Prior to fi_�alization of the SEPA <br /> determination, a written letter or agreement must be provided to <br /> the City by the School District or Applicant. (SEPA Public <br /> Services and Utilities Policies) <br /> 2. 19th Avenue SE is designated as a "Gateway" corridor in the <br /> City's General Plan. The General Plan �tates, "Because Everett <br /> wants to develop and promote an attractive image, all entry . <br /> corridors into the City should be designated as "Gateways" and <br /> standards should be applied to developments along such <br /> "Gateways" relating to building design, landscaping, signage, <br /> outdoor storage and other aesthetic considerations that will <br /> sezve to upgrade Everett's i.mage" . To meet the intent of the <br /> policy, street trees must be provided on 19th Avenue SE at 20 <br /> feet on center. The species must be one of the following: <br /> Scarlet Sentinel Maple (Acer Rubrum "Scarlet Sentinel" ) , <br /> Whitebark Pine (Pinus Albicaulis) , Akebono Flowering Cherry <br /> (Prunus Yedoensis "Ake�ono") , Dawn Redwood (Sequoia Sempervirens <br /> "Dawn" ) , Port Orford Cedar, aka Lawson Cypress (Chamaecyparis <br /> Lawsoniana") .
