At that time, a commitment was made that a construction schedule
for the mitigation project would be developed by your wetland biologist and provided to the City
within the next week. The objective of the construction schedule was to ensure that the
mitigation project would be completed prior to or concurrently with construction of the retail
store.
To date, we have not received a construction schedule for the Spane mitigation site or a date for a
pre -construction meeting on site with Bill Railton of Wetland Resources. We cannot
overemphasize the need for a timeline that will demonstrate that construction and operation of
the wetland mitigation site will meet the anticipated occupancy permit of your HomeBase retail
store. We need to start site preparation and construction immediately so you can meet your
schedule for occupancy permits
We welcome HomeBase to Everett. We want to do all that we can to ensure timely opening of
your new facility. However, we cannot issue occupancy permits without the permit conditions
being fulfilled. Thank you for your attention to these matters. If you have any questions, I can
be reached at (425) 257-8731.
Sincerely,
Paul A.
