i <br />II The City of Everett Building Official has found the buildings which <br />are located on the above -described property to be dangerous. The <br />following deficiencies render the building dangerous pursuant to <br />Section 302 of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous <br />Buildings: <br />1. The structure is manifestly unsafe for the purpose for which it <br />is being used. <br />2. The structure, in its deteriorated condition, has become an <br />attractive nuisance to children and a harbor for vagrants. <br />3. The structure is maintained in violation of Ordinance <br />No. 1247-86 of the City of Everett relating to the condition of <br />structures. <br />4. The structure is in such a condition as to constitute a public <br />nuisance known to the common law or in equity jurisprudence. <br />III The buildings shall either be repaired in accordance with the current <br />Building Code, or they shall be demolished. <br />IV Since the buildings are uninhabitable in their present condition, <br />they shall be vacated within seven (7) days of the date of the Order <br />and remain vacant until such time as they are repaired in accordance <br />with the current Building or demolished. <br />V If the owners elect to repair the buildings according to the current <br />Building Code, all permits must be secured therefore and the work <br />physically commenced within 30 days of the date of this Order. All <br />such work must be completed in compliance with the Building Code <br />within 90 days of the date of this Order. <br />VI If the owners elect to demolish the buildings, all required permits <br />must be secured therefore within 30 days of the date of this Order. <br />Such demolitions must be completed within 90 days of the date of this <br />Order. <br />VII If the required repair or demolition work is not commenced within the <br />time set forth in paragraphs V and VI, the Building Official will <br />order the buildings to remain vacant and proceed to cause the <br />buildings to be demolished and charge the costs thereof against the <br />property or its owners. <br />VIII Any person having any record title or legal interest in the building <br />may appeal from this Notice and Order to the Housing Advisory and <br />Appeals Board. Such appeal must be in writing as is required in the <br />Uniform Housing Code and filed with the Building Official within 30 <br />days from the date of service of this Notice and Order. Failure to <br />appeal will constitute a waiver of all right to an administrative <br />hearing and determination of the matter. <br />IX On June 22, 1188, at 8:30 a.m., the Building Official will. submit a <br />resolution to the Everett City Council, City Hall, Everett, <br />Washington, if Paragraphs V and VI of this Notice and Order are not <br />complied with. <br />DATED this �_ day of <br />5285F <br />
