Prior to issuance of any permits, landscaping plans :hust be reviewed az:d <br /> approved by the Planning Department per Section 3.5.100 of the Zoning Code. <br /> The landscaping plan must show location and dimensions of required vegetated <br /> swales, wetponds, detention ponds, rockeries and retaining wails, and grading at 2 <br /> foot intervals. Irrigation sysiems must be provided in all landscaped azeas per <br /> Section 35.130 of the Zoning Code. A 2 yeaz maintenance assurance device must <br /> be provided for the landscaping per Section 35.130B of the Zoning Code. <br /> 17. Based upon 110,000 squaze feet of Type II-N, sprinklered construction, the fire flow <br /> requirement is 3,500 GPM. <br /> 18. Pour fire hydrants (loop system) aze required within 200 driving feet, but not closer than <br /> SO feet, of every structure. The location of the hydrant must be approved by the Fire <br /> Mazshal. <br /> 19. A sprinkler system complying with City Ordinance No. 1902-92, Chapter 16.76 of the <br /> Everett Municipal Code must be provided within the building. <br /> Plans for any such system must be submitted to the Building Department and.the Everett <br /> Fire Department for examination and approval. Such plans must include rlans for the <br /> underground mains that will supply the sprinkler system. <br /> Above ground sprinkler piping must be l�ydrostatically tested as establislied in NFPA <br /> Standazd 13. Underground piping must be hydrostatically tested and flushed as <br /> established in NFPS Standazd 24 for private fire mains. All such r:sts must be witnessed <br /> by a Fire Department inspector. Call 259-8710 to make an appointment for inspection. <br /> Contractors' materials and test certificates must be submitted to the Everett Fire <br /> Department prior to issuance of any Certificates of Occupancy. <br /> Please ca11259-8726 for more information. I <br /> 20. The building must have a fire alarm system installed in a:;cordance with Uniform Fire <br /> Code Standazds 10-2. <br /> 21. A portable fire extinguisher with a minimum UL rating of 2A must be provided within 75 <br /> feet travel distance on each floor of all portions of each building during construction. <br /> 22. Fire lanes must be provided as required in Everett Municipal Code 46.44. Fire lanes must <br /> be identified by red curbs with white stenciling stating "NO PARKING - FIRE LANE" <br /> and vertical signs stating "NO PAItKING - FIRE LANE - TOW AWAY ZONE." <br /> Location must be approved by the Fire Marshal. <br /> 23. The premises must be cleazly identified by address at the street entry. Each building must <br /> be cleazly :lentified so as to be visible and legible from the access road. <br /> 24. Premise ie::ntification and all required Fire Department access roads and fire hydrants <br /> shall be ir. services prior to commencement of construction. <br /> 25. Fire safety practices during construction must be in compliance with the Uniform Fire <br /> Code, 1985 Edition, Article 87, "Fire Safety During Construction." <br /> 7 <br />
