This task includes direct expenses for the
replacement of up to 45 stakes (i.e. one half of the installed stakes).
We will also utilize a random number generating spreadsheet to determine which 12 of
the 45 transects will be sampled in 2009 and to determine the coordinates of the 10
sample plots along each transect. We will also prepare field supplies and maps necessary
to conduct the vegetatioti'monitoring.
Task 1 .2. Conduct Year 2 Vegetation Monitoring
ICF Jones & Stokes will conduct up to five, 10-hour days of vegetation monitoring
between mid July and mid September 2009 to monitor vegetation die off and
establishment of new vegetation.
