1 5 <br /> Broadway Overcrossing BNSF Evaluation — Material Testing Scope of <br /> Work <br /> Task 1 —BNSF Coordination and Access Strategy <br /> TranTech and City of Everett <br /> Task 2—Lead Paint Determination <br /> TranTech/Mayes (w/subcontract to EHS International) <br /> Task 3—Concrete Coring and Concrete Removal <br /> TranTech/Mayes (w/ subcontract to National Concrete Cutting) <br /> Two 3" dia. concrete core samples shall be obtained at sidewalk locations identified on <br /> the attached drawing and delivered to Dominion Consulting, Inc. for testing. <br /> Two - 12 inch long portions of the concrete cover on the exterior side of the east exterior <br /> roadway stringer shall be removed. The exposed steel surface shall then be cleaned to <br /> allow determination of the steel thickness of the stringer web using ultrasonic testing <br /> procedures. <br /> Task 4—Nondestructive Tests of Steel Cap Beams and Stringers <br /> TranTech/Mayes <br /> Two locations on the top surface/ flange of the steel cap beams (see attached drawing) at <br /> interior Bent 2 and Bent 3 shall be cleared of rust and investigated for surface cracks and <br /> flaws using Magnetic Particle Testing. The cap beam top flange shall be dimensioned <br /> between stringers at locations of most section loss using ultrasonic testing techniques and <br /> hand measurements. <br /> The east exterior roadway stringer shall be dimensioned at two locations identified on the <br /> attached drawing using ultrasonic testing techniques and hand measurements. The <br /> locations will be prepared under Task 3. <br />
