The objectives of the Final Reviseo Wedand Mitigation Plan are:
a. To resrore a forested/scrub-shrub weNand class, seasonally flcled/saturared
environment around the wedand located on Lot 20, that will inter-connect, both
physically and hydrologically, with the newly created wedand to the east;
b. To create a neev forested/scrub-shrub wedand east of the restored wedand that would be
hydrologically connected;
To incresse plant diversiry in both wetlands y planting a wide variery of trees, shrubs
and herbs;
d. To enhance the 10 foot wide buffer to the wes with additional plantings and the removal
of Himalayan blackberry; and
To enhance the 25 foot buffer to the east with additional plantings so that it would
support an increase in small bird and mammal use, in the viciniry of the restored/created
wedands.
In addition to the proposed wedand mitigation, the required 50 foot buffer located
adjacent to the wedand creation area is proposed for a50 percent reduction. The
minimum progosed buffer width is 25 feet. Dense plantings within the remaining
reduced buffer area (4,000 SF) is proposed for mitigation for the SO percent reduction.
The proposed dense plantings will provide excellent wildlife habitat and also an armored
physical barrier between the developed portions of the properry and the sensitve areas.
The proposed filling, creation and restoration of wetlands on Lots 1, 2, and 20 shall be
in accordance with the above referenced Wedand Mitigation Plan. In addition to
compliance with the Revised Final Wedand Muigation Plan, the Applicant shall ccmply
with the following requirements for the proposed filling; restoration and creatiun of
wedands on Lots 1, 2, and 20.
