37. Buildirg facade modulation and rootline variation must be provided per Section 15.050 <br />of the Zoning Code. The maximum permitted wall length without buil3ing facade <br />modulation is 30 feet. It appears that your elevation drawings show areas ? feet in length <br />without building facade modulation. Your proposal must be redesigned to meet Section <br />15.050. <br />38. Accecc - The Uniform Fire Code requires that all new structures shall provide Fire <br />Department access roads to within 150 feet of all portions of the ground floor. Fire <br />Department access roads (Fire Lanes) shall provide a minimum of 20 feet in width ef <br />uaobstructed, all-season driving surface with a minimum clear height of 13'6". Fire <br />Lanes will be posted and maintained as required by the Fire Department. <br />39. Access - O.K. as shown on the site plan review:d. <br />40. Fire lanes shall be provided as required in Everett Municipal Code 46.44. Fire lanes <br />shall be identified by red curbs with white stenciling state "NO PARKING - FIRE <br />LANE" vertical signs stating "NO PARKING - FIRE LANE - TOW AWAY ZONE." <br />Location shall be approved by the Fire Marshal. <br />41. Securi y Fence - Any security fence erecred around the construction site shall be located <br />so as to not obst�vct any existing hydrant, fire protection equipment, or Fire Department <br />access. If Fire Department access is obstructed, gates or other openings shall Ue <br />provided for access. <br />42. A fire hydrant is required within 20G driving feet, but no closer than 50 feet, of every <br />strucmre. Location of hydrants shalf be approved by the Fire Marshal. <br />43. PREMISE IDENTIFICATION AND ALL REQUIRED FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />ACCESS ROAD� AND FIRE HYDRANTS SI�ALL BE IN SERVICE PRIOR TO <br />COMMENCEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION. <br />44. Based upon 8.550 square feet of Type V-I, sprinklered construction, the fire flow <br />requirement is 1,500 gpm. <br />45. Portable Fire Protection = A portable fire extinguisher with a minimum U.L. rating of <br />2-A:10-B:C shall be provided within 75 feet of travel on all floors of each building <br />during construction and prior to occupancy. <br />46. Fire Alarm Sv_stem - A approved automatic fire detection system shalf be provided as <br />required by City Ordinance No. 1902-92, Chapter 16.76, of the Everett Municipal Code. <br />Plans for such system shall be submitted to the F�ire Marshal for review and approvai <br />prior to installation. Sabmittal shall include cut sheets of all equipment intended for use. <br />Appropriate trip tests, wimessed by a Fire Department inspecter, shall be performed, <br />along with a certificate of completion, prior to final acceptance of the system. <br />Fire alarm systems shall be installed according [o NFPA Standard 72. <br />Fire alarm systems shall be installed under permit of the Ciry of Everctt Building <br />Department.
