Per the available existing drawings, the existing hospital building <br /> , was constructed of Type 1 construction per the 1979 Uniform <br /> Building Code and the existing MOB was constructed of Type II <br /> FI2 construction per the 1985 Uniform Building Code. <br /> � The existirig hospital has a construction type equivalent to Type <br /> I-A construction per the IBC. The MOB has a construction type <br /> ' equivalent to Type I-Q per the IBC. Based on the height and <br /> area of the existing hospital the current code only requires it to <br /> be of Type I-B construction. As all three buildings are allowed <br /> ' to be of Type I-B construction and the area for Type I-B <br /> construction is unlimited for all buildings involved, the new <br /> Tower will be considered an addition to the existing buildings <br /> ' and no Fire Wall separations are required. <br /> � <br />
