When access to or within a structure or an area is unduly difficult because of secured <br /> openings or where immediate access is necessary for life saving or fire-fighting <br /> purposes, the Fire Department may recommend or require a key box to be installed in an <br /> accessible location. An approved automatic fire detection system must be provided as required by Chapter <br /> 16.76 of the Everett Municipal Code. <br /> Plans for such system must be submitted to the Fire Marshal for review and approval <br /> prior to installation. Submittal sha;l include cut sheets of all equipment intended for use. <br /> Appropriate trip tests, witnessed by a Fire Department inspector, must be performed prior <br /> to final acceptance of the system. <br /> Fire alarm systems must be installed under perrnit of the City of cverett Building <br /> Departmen4. Electrical inspections and approval are required prior to calling for <br /> accentance tests. Call 259-8810 for permit information. <br /> 24. Demolition of buildings must be in compliance with the provisions of Unifortn Fire Code, <br /> Section 87.105 "Fire safety during Demolition". <br /> 25. Dumpsters over 1.5 cubic yards capacity must be located a minimum of 5 feet from the <br /> building (UFC 11.302(b), 1991 Edition). <br /> 26. Parking must be per City Zoning Code and City Design and Corstruction Standards and <br /> Specifications. There are currently 68 parking stalls on the site. A minimum of two stalls <br /> are required for each additional unit constructed. Therefore a minimum of 154 parking <br /> stalls are required. ,4 minimum of five accessible spaces must be provided. <br /> 27. A pedestrian circulation system for the site must be approved by the Planning Director <br /> and Tra�c Engineer prior to the issuance of any building permits. Walkways must allow <br /> pedestrians and wheelchairs to gain easy access from sidewalks and bus stops to <br /> building entrances through the use of paths which are physically separated from vehicle <br /> 6 <br />
