SECTION II - Existing Site Condition Summary
A small abandoned single-family home, garage, outbuildings and pasture currt:ntly
occupy the site. Historically, the property was used for small-scale farming, with fences
and bams remaining as testimony. The western 1.75-acres of the site extends inio
Kasch Park Bog, which is classified as a Category I Wetland.
The site is hydraulically isolated from the surrounding upstream properties; receiving
only minor amounts of off-site flow from the right-of-way. Properties east of 18`" Avenue
West possess their own drainage system. The adjacent parcels to the north and soutli
drain directly to Kasch Park Bog. Runoff generally infiltrates and/or flows on the surface
into the adjacent wetland. The southern half of the site tends to flow southwest acress
the adjacent parcel before entering ihe wetland.
