Work with local law enforcement and the industry <br /> to ensure the security of visitors. <br /> To accomplish these goals,the SCTB will undertake the following during the 2009 contract year: <br /> 1. Keep City Council up-to-date: Regularly report to city council on tourism trends, new <br /> developments and activities and accomplishments of the Everett tourism marketing <br /> program. Contact council members throughout the year. <br /> 2. Participate in Economic Development Planning: Participate in various city economic <br /> development-planning efforts and provide input on tourism issues. <br /> 3. Build Coalitions and Partnerships: Build coalitions and partnerships with city Chamber <br /> of Commerce, Port of Everett and other government agencies, and the Navy on special <br /> projects and topics. Emphasis will be on the private sector tourism related businesses. <br /> 4.
