J <br /> ADDITIONAL PROJECT DELIVERABLES <br /> ICLEI will produce several additional deliverables associated with this Scope of Work: <br /> • CACP software data backup on hard disks or on the City's server; and <br /> • Data analysis input files in excel format. <br /> CLIENT COMMITMENT <br /> ICLEI has found the following criteria to be instrumental in creating a sustainable approach to working <br /> with a member on a fee-for-service basis, and will require the following: <br /> • The City must become a member of ICLEI (already completed); <br /> • The City must assign two representatives to be liaisons to ICLEI, one municipal staff and one <br /> elected leader; <br /> • The City must provide adequate staff support related to the collection of data and vetting of <br /> potential emissions reduction projects and policies; and, <br /> • The mayor or other high level official must distribute a letter indicating to appropriate department <br /> staff that assistance in this project is an important priority for the City. ICLEI will provide a <br /> template for this letter. <br /> PROJECT SCHEDULE <br /> The project start date will be negotiated by the parties upon confirmation of this scope of work, with <br /> anticipation that the project will begin by 5/1/09. This price includes the <br /> benefits, membership, overhead, travel, and all other ancillary costs associated with the deliverables <br /> and work product described herein. <br /> ICLEI's QUALIFICATIONS <br /> ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND <br /> Since 1993, ICLEI U.S.A., a non-profit 501(c) 3 corporation, has been working with local governments <br /> to improve global environmental conditions through cumulative local leadership and action. Through <br /> performance-based campaigns and initiatives, ICLEI's U.S. office provides local governments with <br /> technical expertise and policy assistance as well as access to a valuable national peer network. In the <br /> United States, ICLEI is a growing association of local governments (over 40% growth in 2006) <br /> dedicated to climate protection and sustainable development with a strong national presence. ICLEI <br /> works with these local governments to push the boundaries of traditional leadership in the US and <br /> achieve stronger, accelerated movement toward sustainability goals through measured performance <br /> and tangible results. <br /> A <br />
