5 <br /> Kitchens and nonhabitable spaces shall not be used for sleeping purposes. <br /> 4. IPMC 404.4.5 Other requirements, which reads: <br /> Bedrooms shall comply with the applicable provisions of this code including, but not <br /> limited to, the light, ventilation, room area, ceiling height and room width <br /> requirements of this chapter, the plumbing facilities and water-heating facilities <br /> requirements of Chapter 5; the heating facilities and electrical receptacle <br /> requirements of Chapter 6; and the smoke detector and emergency escape <br /> requirements of Chapter 7. <br /> 5. IRC 2009 R105.1 Permit required, which reads: <br /> Any owner or authorized agent who intends to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, <br /> move, demolish or change the occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, <br /> install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert or replace any electrical, gas, <br /> mechanical or plumbing system, the installation of which is regulated by this code, <br /> or cause any such work to be done, shall first make application to the building <br /> official and obtain the required permit. <br /> 6. IPMC 108.1.1 Unsafe Structures, which reads: <br /> An unsafe structure is one that is found to be dangerous to the life, health, property <br /> or safety of the public or the occupants of the structure by not providing minimum <br /> safeguards to protect or wam occupants in the event of fire, or because such <br /> structure contains unsafe equipment or is so damaged, decayed, dilapidated, <br /> structurally unsafe or of such faulty construction or unstable foundation, that partial <br /> or complete collapse is possible. <br /> 7. EMC 8.22.030 Abatement and removal of junk and inoperable motor vehicles <br /> from private property, which reads: <br /> (A) All junk and inoperable vehicles placed or situated upon private property within <br /> the city limits shall constitute a criminal violation and shall be subject to the <br /> penalties as set forth in Section 8.22.100 of this chapter, and are also public <br /> nuisances to be abated as provided in this chapter. <br /> (1) A vehicle or part thereof that is completely enclosed within a building in a <br /> lawful manner where it is not visible from the street or other public or private <br /> property; or <br /> (2) A vehicle or part thereof that is stored or parked in a lawful manner on <br /> private property in connection with the business of a licensed dismantler or <br /> licensed vehicle dealer and is fenced according to the provisions of RCW <br /> 4 6.80.130; or <br /> cs/� <br />
