CITY OF EVERETT PUBLIC WORKS <br /> SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> B. Purpose: <br /> 1. Bidding Documents are made available only for the purpose of obtaining offers for the <br /> Project. <br /> 2. Their use does not grant a license for other purposes. <br /> 1.8 EXAMINATION OF DOCUMENTS <br /> A. Completeness: <br /> 1. Upon receipt of Bidding Documents, verify that documents are complete. <br /> 2. Notify Owner if documents are incomplete. <br /> B. Immediately notify Owner upon finding discrepancies or omissions in Bidding Documents. <br /> 1.9 SITE EXAMINATION <br /> A. Examine Project Site before submitting a Bid. <br /> 1. Inspect site of the Work by personal examination, physical testing, or by such other <br /> means as Bidder prefers, of the location of the proposed Work, the actual physical <br /> conditions of and at the Site, surface and subsurface conditions, and conditions ordinarily <br /> to be encountered and generally recognized as inherent in the Work. <br /> 2. If, during the course or as a result of such inspection, examination and testing, a Bidder <br /> finds facts or conditions that appear to conflict or are omitted from the Contract <br /> Documents, or with other data or material made available relating to the Work, Bidder <br /> shall so notify the City in writing, and may apply to the City for additional information <br /> and explanation before submitting their Bid. <br /> B. A visit to Project Site has been arranged for Bidders immediately after the Prebid Meeting. <br /> 1.10 PREBID MEETING <br /> A. A mandatory Prebid Meeting, in accordance with Document 002513 — Prebid Meeting, is <br /> scheduled for 10:30 AM local time, on January 19, 2016, at WFP Conference Room. <br /> B. General Contract and Subcontract Bidders are invited to attend. <br /> C. Representatives of Architect/Engineer and Owner will attend. <br /> D. Minutes: <br /> 1. Summarized minutes of this meeting will be circulated to known Bidders. <br /> 2.
