July 8, 2015 <br />appropriate number if allowed to cluster, whether the separation <br />requirement is appropriate, and what conditions might be appropriate <br />based on their review. <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br />Member Gipson who was excused. <br />Motion carried. <br />At the request of Mayor Stephanson, President Bader announced that the <br />Streets Initiative briefing would be postponed until next week. <br />Moved by Council Member Murphy, seconded by Council Member <br />Moore, to amend the motion to not allow retail stores as a permitted <br />use in the C-2 ES zone. <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br />Member Gipson who was excused. <br />Motion carried. <br />Moved by Council Member Moore, seconded by Council Member <br />Murphy, to amend the motion to add "church, synagogue, mosque or <br />temple" to the list of sensitive land uses as outlined in Section 2, B.5 <br />and C.5 of the proposed ordinance. <br />Discussion took place regarding the definition of church, synagogue, <br />mosque or temple as it relates to land use regulations, and if adopted, the <br />impact on current marijuana retail businesses in the city of Everett. <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br />Members Roberts, Stonecipher, Tuohy, and Bader who voted no, and <br />Council Member Gipson who was excused. <br />Motion carried. <br />209 <br />
