�arch ?r1, 1994 4 __ `�13-�575 <br />3.2 Review of Htstorical Infoimation <br />3 �.1 Aer1a1 Photograph Revicw <br />We reviewed aerial photographs of the site taken in 1993, 1985,1981, '1976, 1967, 195�, and <br />1947. The pho�ogrephs were supplicd by Walker 6c Associates Inc. of Seattle, Washington. <br />We obtained a contact print of the 1985 aerial photo as a representati�✓e photo for file <br />documentation of past site use. The following sections summarize Ihe site characteristics and <br />changes noted in the historical aerial photo review. <br />1947 black & white ohoto <br />The subject lot is undeveloped ancl wooded. Paine Field Way and 112th Sireet S.W. <br />existed as gravel roads. No developmenf existed within ab��ut 7/4 mile of the site. <br />1955 blatk & white nhoto <br />The subject site remained undeveloped and wooded. Resi9ential houses had been <br />canstructed on the adjacent properties to the east, and in �:he surrounding vicinity. <br />An automobile junkyard was visiblir about ]/4 mile to the ioutheast on Highway 99. <br />1967 black & w ite �uto <br />The subject site contained a house in the present location of the existing house. The <br />eastem portion of ther subject site had been cleared. The westem portion remained <br />undeveloped. The junkyard on Higt�way 99 was larger than in ]955 but remained <br />abuut ]/4 mile from t�ne site. <br />l9,"6 black dc whit�P�ato <br />No observed changes from the 7967 photo. <br />]981 black & white �hoto <br />Nearly the same as previous hvo photos. It appeared that additional trees had been <br />cleared from the subjeM site. Surrounding residential development was expanded. <br />1985 black & white ahoto <br />No observed changes from 1981 photo. <br />1993 color photo <br />No significant changes to the subjeM site observed. The junkyard on Highway 99 was <br />reduced in size by about l/2. The north l/2 was abandoned. <br />3.2.2 Topographic and Geologic Map Review <br />Our map review included the following geologic and topographic ma�s. <br />United States Geological Survey, Distribution and description of Geologic Units <br />in the Mukilteo QuadranEle, Washington by James P.
