It is currently awaiting assessment by WppE. The site has confirmed contamination of the soil, sediment, surface and groundwater with petraleum products. Suspected _, contamination includes halogenated organic compounds, EPA priority pollutants, metals and other non-lialogenated solvenb. B• Pallister Paint 1037 Center Road This site was listed on the WDpE and CERCLIS lists, It is located about 5/8 mile to the southeast of the subject site. On the state list it is classified as awaiting assessment. Confirmed soil contamination includes halogenated organic compounds, EPA priority pollutants and PCB's. Groundwater contamination is also suspected. The EPA CERCLIS list has classified the site as NFA (No Further Action). 3.4.2 Waahington State Department of Ecolopy UST and LUST List Revlew We reviewed a copy of the Washington Department of Ecology's UST (Undergruund Storage Tanks), and LUST (Leaking Underground Stora�e Tanks) lists for Snohomish County. No USTs were listed for the subject property or the bordering properties. The nearest UST listed was at 1725 1]2!h Stre?t S.W. at the Titan Construction Site, however, these three tanks were listed as removed. Tl�ere are numerous USTs in the vicinity of the east aide of the airport. These tanks are about 3J9 mile northeast of :he subject site. The tanks contain any one of the following: unleaded ga-; kerosene; leade6 ga:3; diesel; heating oil; or aviation fuel. No LUSTs were listed on or adjacent to the subjc�t site. The LUST list included ten listed sites within about one mile of the subject site. Six of the sites are within l/2 mile of the site. These six sites are listed below with a brief summary of the disposition of the leaking underground tank(s). The number preceding the site location corresponds to the location identification on figure 3. 1• Brian's Auto Sales 1]131 Pacific Hiehway South This site was located aboul ]/2 mile east of the subject site. Five LUSTs were removed in August 1990. The cleanup status was listed as conducted. 2• Mukilteo School Fairmont Elementa_ry, 11401 Holly Drive This site was located about ]/2 mile west-southwest of the subject site. One heating oil tank had been removed, ai;,', the cleanup was listed as "ongoing". 3• Titan Construction Site 17?5 ]12th Street S W This s�te was located about 1/]0 mile southeast of the subjecl site. Three LUSTs were removed and about 500 cubic yards of contaminated soil was remediated. The cleanup status was listed as "completed". Golder Assoclates
