Wetlnd A is e combination of Palustrine emergent
scrub/shrub and forest. The portion of the property that wfll be fllled is reed
cansry grass and emergeiit. As is the area that wlll be enhanced, off-site
the wetland is scrub/shrub with possible trees thel are large enough.
Soils
Tho Soil Survey of Snohomish County maps the site as the Alderwood
series. Tho wotlands most closely metch tho soils of the Nortna series.
The beaver dam has increased the water level, and some of the upland
soils have been inundaled.
Hydrology
The beaver dam alters the hydrology of Wetlands A and e. Wetland A
drains through a construcled ditch ot!-s;te to the west of tho propeRy (nto
Wetland 8. Wetland B discharges to the east completely off-site via a
slream that is off-site, as is shown by the approximate location on the map.
The off-s(to stream and wetlands are far enougli from the proparty thet a
buffer does not impact the subjecl property.
3047 UBA, Inc. t/11/05
U
