Schedule and attend kick-off meeting. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • Correspondence, e-mails and other documentation <br /> • Monthly billing statements and activity reports <br /> • Kick-off meeting agenda and minutes <br /> Task 2—Preliminary Design <br /> Design criteria for the improvements will be developed and documented in a Technical <br /> Memorandum,which will also include survey data, geotechnical information,corrosion assessment <br /> information, alignment alternatives analysis,and preliminary plans at the 50%completion level. <br /> The corrosion assessment and cathodic protection preliminary design tasks will be performed by <br /> MSA's subconsultant Northwest Corrosion Engineering. <br /> MSA Responsibility: <br /> 2.1 Data Collection and Review-Work under this subtask includes gathering and reviewing all <br /> relevant data to complete the preliminary engineering tasks. A number of documents and <br /> reports will be requested and reviewed as part of this task. MSA will coordinate with the <br /> City during data collection to ensure all necessary information is gathered for the project. <br /> 2.2 Utility Coordination and Review-Identify potential utility conflicts and develop a list of <br /> locations to pothole to obtain specific utility information. Potholing will be conducted by <br /> the City. <br /> 2.3 Corrosion and Condition Assessment—Perform a corrosion assessment of up to eight(8) <br /> exposed pipeline locations for collecting data to evaluate the condition of the existing <br /> pipeline, identify the corrosivity potential of the surrounding soils for the new pipeline,and <br /> establish design parameters for a cathodic protection system. Corrosion inspection services <br /> will be provided by MSA's subconsultant,Northwest Corrosion Engineering.
