Ii <br /> Assumptions: <br /> • MSA will prepare draft addenda. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • Draft addenda as required for the City to distribute to plan holders. <br /> • Conformed drawings and specifications if required. <br /> Task 10—Construction Management Support <br /> This task represents minimal involvement by MSA during the construction of the improvements in <br /> support of the City's on-site inspector and construction management group. MSA's support will be <br /> limited to incidental support and periodic collaboration with the City,the construction contractor, <br /> permitting agencies and others, all at the direction of the City. <br /> MSA Responsibilities: <br /> 10.1 Meetings-Attend a pre-construction conference with City and construction contractor and <br /> invited agencies and utilities. MSA will be available to answer questions.Attend project <br /> progress meetings with City and contractor, as necessary. <br /> 10.2 Shop Drawings and Submittals-Review construction submittals,as directed by the City, <br /> for conformance with project documents. <br /> 10.3 Site Visits—Conduct periodic site visits, as necessary,to support the City's on-site <br /> inspector. Attend project walk-through for final inspection of the project and assist City <br /> with development of construction punch list. Attend testing and start-up of the completed <br /> improvements and assist City with substantial completion determination. <br /> 10.4 Clarifications and Changes-MSA will assist with issuing clarifications to the construction <br /> contractor and producing design changes if necessary. <br /> 10.5 Record Plans (As-built drawings) -Prepare record drawings in AutoCAD to indicate <br /> changes made during construction,based on notes and sketches of the construction <br /> contractor and inspector. <br /> City Responsibilities: <br /> 1. The City will provide full-time on-site inspection and will take the lead in administrating and <br /> managing the construction contract and communicating with the construction contractor. <br /> 2. City will provide a single copy of complete and fully-coordinated construction markups for <br /> production of as-built plans. <br /> Assumptions: <br /> • MSA will attend preconstruction conference and up to twelve project meetings as requested. <br /> • MSA will review up to twenty construction submittals as requested. <br /> Trans Line 4 Phase 1 Replacement 9 7 City of Everett <br /> April 1,2010 Page 11 WO#UP 3421 <br />
