REPAIR SP] FICATIONS AND LIST OF WO1 TO BE BID <br />Address: 231 74th St. Page 4 of 9 <br />Heating. Remove the baseboard heaters along with <br />thermostats from the existing bathroom and center room <br />of house. Install new electric wall heaters, squirrel <br />cage fan type, Cadex "Z" series or equal, in both the <br />existing and new bathrooms. New heaters shall be <br />capable of maintaining a room temperature of at least <br />700 F at a point three feet above the floor. <br />Contractor to place the existing baseboard heaters in <br />the master bedroom and the girls' bedroom on separate, <br />wall thermostats. Move the wall thermostat in the front <br />hallway and place the living room and kitchen on <br />separate thermostats. Contractor shall move heaters and <br />thermostats throughout house as necessary to complete <br />the job. <br />All new electrical work in this item shall be performed <br />in compliance with the requirements of the National <br />Electrical Code, 1984 edition. <br />7. DRYWALL <br />Install 1/2" gypsum wallboard, taped and sparkled with a <br />light dash (orange peel) finish to the following areas: <br />the entire kitchen - eating area (including new overhead <br />beam), both boys' bedrooms complete (closets included), <br />the bathroom (existing) areas as necessary to finish <br />complete following rearrangement of fixtures and walls, <br />the entire new bathroom, new laundry closet, entry <br />closet, and linen closet. Install the same wallboard to <br />complete the hallways and both the girls' and the master <br />bedrooms where alterations are made as called out in <br />specs throughout the specs. Finish the entire house, <br />except the living room, in a light dash. <br />All new drywall to be fastened in accordance with the <br />requirements of the Uniform Building Code, 1965 edition. <br />8. PAINTING <br />Interior painting. Contractor shall give all areaa of <br />the house interior, except the living room, 2 coats of <br />latex paint. The final coat to be latex enamel (semi <br />gloss). Contractor shall help the owner select the <br />paint colors for the job. <br />Exterior painting. The contractor shall provide the <br />owner with a paint allowance of $300 for exterior <br />paint. Owner to paint house exterior. <br />All new paint to be, at least, a painter's line quality, <br />Benjamin Moore or equal. <br />
