When the wetpond design storm (G month, 24-hour) is routed through the wetpond, the <br /> peak storage (dead + live) must be equal to the wetpond design volume. If 50% of the <br /> required wetpond is provided as dead storage, the other 50% of the wetpond design <br /> volume must be achieved as live storage during the wetpond design storm. The <br /> primary orifice may need to be decreased in size to achieve sufficient live storage to <br /> meet wetpond design requirements.
