<br /> DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT:
<br /> Bids were opened on July 7, 2010, and six (6)bid proposals were received for the construction of
<br /> the Rucker-Hoyt Streetscape Project, Phase 1. On July 8, 2010, the City received the Notice of
<br /> Bid Error from Interwest Construction Inc. and request for relief of responsibilities from contract
<br /> award in accordance with the bid specifications. With Council's acceptance of Interwest's bid
<br /> error declaration, KLB Construction Inc. becomes the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
<br /> at a price of$3,734,975.46. The City recommends that KLB Construction Inc. be awarded the
<br /> construction contract for the Rucker-Hoyt Streetscape Project, Phase 1, in the amount of
<br /> $3,734,975.46.
<br /> The funding sources for this project are:
<br /> Fund 144—Downtown Improvements $1,892,176.00
<br /> Fund 339—Water& Sewer System Imp. $1,590,799.46
