EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK 3 <br /> The following additional structural drawings will be included and added to the original <br /> Contract Drawings: <br /> Drawing No. Description <br /> Structural <br /> S-5 Pile Bent FPC and PCC Connection Sections and Details <br /> S-6 Type III Pile Bent Sections <br /> Plans will be prepared in 22" x 34" format for reduction to 11" x 17" document format for <br /> use during design reviews and bidding. <br /> 3. Final Specifications. Update the final technical specifications, bidding and contract <br /> documents, all referred to as Contract Documents, required for the work based on <br /> revisions similar to those made to the 2008 Phase 6 bid specifications and the following: <br /> • Applicable April 2005 bid addenda items from Addenda 1 through 3. <br /> • Review and incorporate into the Phase 7 design applicable Phase 6, 2008 Addenda <br /> items. <br /> • Applicable design modifications similar to those from the previous Phase 6 <br /> construction project identified within RFI's, and CDC's. <br /> • Incorporate 2010 structural design modifications based on 2009 IBC requirements. <br /> • Additional or revised permitting conditions (if required) <br /> • Update project contract bidding forms using current City version. <br /> • Update project contract front end documents including general conditions, etc. <br /> • Update project technical specifications. <br /> 4. Review with City. Attend a review meeting with City staff at the 95 percent level of <br /> completion. Review comments received from the City and other permitting/approval <br /> agencies will be included in the 100% Bidding/Contract Documents for the project. <br /> Should the 100% Contract Documents fail to be consistent with the professional standard <br /> of care in the industry, Engineer shall make the necessary corrections to the <br /> Bidding/Contract Documents at no additional cost. <br /> 5. Design Meetings. Coordinate and conduct status meetings with City staff during final <br /> design. Meetings will include attendance by Project Manager and Project Engineer staff; <br /> it is assumed all meetings will be held at the City's offices. Up to four meetings will be <br /> scheduled for the following purposes: one design meeting, two permitting meetings and <br /> the 95%review meeting. <br /> 6. Final Contract Documents. Produce final Bidding/Contract Documents including <br /> reduced plans and technical specifications suitable for bidding purposes. A single bid <br /> package is assumed for this project. A single full size unbound bid-ready set of the <br /> Bidding/Contract Documents (signed paper originals of drawings and specifications) will <br /> be provided to the City.
