3 EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> notification to the Construction Contractor, and retesting of the materials after <br /> corrections are made. <br /> d. Progress Payment Verification. Review Construction Contractor's monthly payment <br /> requests. Collect and tabulate all quantity delivery tickets for unit price quantities <br /> where required. Verify Construction Contractor's estimates of completion levels. <br /> Maintain record of all quantity calculations and substantive certifications and provide <br /> copies of such records to the City. <br /> e. Photographs. Take pre-construction photographs/video tapes and progress <br /> photographs of construction activities on a weekly basis to document progress of the <br /> work and job site conditions encountered. <br /> f. Final Review and Inspection. Perform a final review and inspection of the <br /> construction work and prepare a final list of items to be corrected (i.e. "Punch List"). <br /> After substantial completion of the project, verify completion of the punch list. <br /> g. Record Drawings. Review Construction Contractor's record drawings on a monthly <br /> basis to verify posted changes. <br /> 3. Geotechnical Field Assistance. Terracon will provide the following services as a <br /> subcontractor to the Engineer: <br /> a. Develop pile driving refusal criteria for the pile driving system selected by the <br /> Construction Contractor. Develop pile driving criteria for up to two pile driving <br /> hammers based on Construction Contractor's submitted data sheets. <br /> b. Review shop drawings and other submittals as requested. A total of 16 hours are <br /> budgeted for this task. <br /> c. Assist in preparing RFI's as requested. A total of 20 hours are budgeted for this task. <br /> d. Attend the pre-construction meeting. <br /> e. Attend up to two weekly Construction Contractor meetings. <br /> f. Monitor installation of two test piles. One full-day trip. Complete geotechnical <br /> analyses of test piles to interpret the results. <br /> g. Provide up to 18 full day trips to monitor the installation of a number of production <br /> piles. Provide daily reports. <br /> h. Interpret vibration and settlement monitoring data collected by the Construction <br /> Contractor. A total of 16 hours are budgeted for this task. <br /> i. Review and interpret the pile driving reports obtained by Engineer for the remainder <br /> of the piles not included during Terracon's field monitoring in item 3.g.
