EXHIBIT A 3 <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> j. Provide the City with a summary report of all of the production pile driving data and <br /> analysis. <br /> 4. Corrosion Protection System Assistance.Northwest Corrosion Engineering will provide the <br /> following services as a subcontractor to the Engineer: <br /> a. Perform on-site visual coating inspection and dry film coating thickness testing on <br /> approximately 3,812 lineal feet of 48-inch pipeline and pipe pile support structures. <br /> Testing will be conducted in up to 2 separate field trips. <br /> b. Field verify electrical continuity bonding of all metallic system components including <br /> pipeline expansion joints, 73 pile bent support structures, and approximately 146 pipe <br /> piles. <br /> c. Conduct final cathodic protection system adjustment upon completion of the Phase 7 <br /> project to ensure all metallic structures in contact with the soil are receiving adequate <br /> corrosion protection. <br /> 5. Testing Assistance. GeoTest Services, Inc. will provide the following services as a <br /> subcontractor to the Engineer: <br /> a. Perform field inspection and testing services associated with certified welding <br /> inspection. Up to $8,540 are budgeted for certified welding inspection. <br /> 6. Prepare Record Drawings. Incorporate the Construction Contractor's record information on <br /> CAD design files. Changes in materials, elevations, and location, from that shown on the <br /> plans will be shown based on the information provided by the Construction Contractor. <br /> Final electronic AUTOCAD files and a single full size paper set of record drawings will be <br /> provided. <br /> 7. Schedule of Work and Budgeted Hours-Construction Services <br /> a. Project Schedule Assumptions. The work described herein in Task 8 has been based <br /> on a total construction period of 285 working days and assumed construction starting <br /> in April 1,2011 and completing in May 3, 2012. See Exhibit C-4. <br /> b. The proposed budget for the Engineer's Construction Manager/Inspector is based on <br /> the proposed thirteen(13)month overall construction schedule shown in Exhibit C-4. <br /> The Construction Manager will provide contract services for 285 working days (57 <br /> weeks) based on 4 hours per week. Senior Inspector will provide contract services <br /> for up to 168 working days (starting approximately September 1, 2011) based on a <br /> typical 8 hours per day for 5 days per week, except 10 hour days are assumed for 5 <br /> days per week for 22 weeks during anticipated pile driving period (between approx, <br /> 9/23/11 to 2/23/12) for a total budget of 1,778 hours. The above proposed budget <br /> hours are based on the Construction Contractor working five (5) days per week.
